Taka Sasuke
OVERVIEW
With an Akatsuki robe and a shiny new Sharingan, Taka Sasuke is here to burn, shock, and dazzle his opponents with fancy swordplay. Despite this, he falls behind his other forms. but that shouldn't deter you from picking up Taka Sasuke, and perhaps making him a main character that you like to use.
Pros
- Great Shuriken that multi-hit
- Ougi is quick and can catch people
- Awakening Jutsu is great to keep the pressure off
Cons
- Strings are easily KnJ'ed
- his OOO^O is almost useless
- Unsafe Aerial chain
Strings
OOO>O : Sasuke ends this string with a kick, enabling Strike Back if you have an Attack-Type. This chain with an attack type can almost always equal free jutsu/ougi
OOOO : Sasuke's neutral chain in which he ends with a Chidori on the ground. The opponent will just fall to the ground, which could give you enough time to activate awakening into Mangekyou Mode.
OOOVO: Sasuke uses Sharp Spear and slams the opponent to the ground, gets chakra orbs out of them, perfect for when your running out.
OOO^O: Sasuke will kick and use a fireball. Pretty crappy chain since the kick misses most of the time unless an assist is helping him. Even if you do land it, the fireball is easily techable
Grab: Sasuke's grab animation is a Chidori Nagashi, it has short range, so it should be used to catch stubborn blockers or chakra dashers
Tilt: Taka Sasuke's tilt is the Chidori stream that sends the opponent upwards. It's easily techable
Aerial: Sasuke's aerial will send him to the ground stuck in his landing animation. You should Chakra Shuriken Cancel the end so he can stay safe.
Jutsu and Ougi
Chidori: Chidori uncharged works like Kakashi's uncharged Raikiri. He runs at you, pretty animation, and you fall down. Charged however, Sasuke will run at you, do an even prettier animation, and knock you away. Oddly enough, there's no strike back opportunity. more or less, use that as an opportunity to get some elbow room.
Amaterasu: This jutsu is great and one of my favorites, Amaterasu will track the opponent for a while so you can put the pressure on them, and also, using it mid-range could make your opponent panic and try to chakra dash. Another thing is that you can stop Amaterasu from appearing, even if he gets hit, because the jutsu comes out, then Sasuke recovers from the recoil.
Amaterasu (Ougi): The Ougi itself is like a shortened, faster, and less tracking version of the jutsu. Can can chakra dashers at mid range
Awakening
Taka Sasuke's awakening is Mangekyou Mode. Along with standard guard crush he also attains an attack boost, some flashy Chidori effects, and a new Jutsu. This mode is essentially the comeback you've been waiting for when your fighting an uphill battle, with Amaterasu you can get opponents out of your face long enough to recover chakra, and with increased attack strength you can turn the match around quickly, or at least be a threat. Since Taka Sasuke's awakening is standard awakening it has standard awakening length, despite the fact he gets Amaterasu as a Jutsu. just make sure you DO bring your opponent down to enough to finish them after your mode ends.
As an Assist
Sasuke as an assist will use Chidori. it doesn't create strike back, so using him as an attack type is pretty useless if you rely on assists for Strike Back. I recommend using Taka Sasuke as a Balance Type, because his Chakra Shuriken Multi Hit, which leaves the opponent pretty stunned, which can make an opening for things like your awakening or an Ougi if you can pull it off (EX: Kakashi)
I may add pics to this guide, too. I dunno.
